Sushi lunch date

Yesterday, was our 7 month anniversary! Woo hoo! All week we were trying to think of a unique way to celebrate our anniversary. We ended up going to lunch with our friends Bryan and Jennifer after church. Jennifer leads worship and Bryan run light and sound at Grace church.  We tossed all sort of food ideas when they asked us if we ate sushi. Nick and I had never had sushi and we were feeling a little "adventurous" so we went to a great sushi restaurant. The experience was delicious! It was a great lunch full of fun conversations and good eating!

Wedding Pictures are IN!!!!!

It was a special treat to see that our wedding pictures has arrived!  It was fun to organize and just reflect on such an important day. God has truly been guiding our relationship. Our faith has grown because we know that through our happy times and difficult times God is maturing us. Our love for Him has grown and therefore our love for one another has grown too. Marriage is truly a blessing when we base our love on Christ.

BIG catch!

This week has been an adventure! Our friends Jordan and Lisa came down to visit. We had a great fishing trip with Lisa and Jordan where I caught a 10-12 lbs tripletail!! It was an amazing fight! Thanks to the whole crew I was able to bring it to the boat and get lots of pictures with it. Along with the tripletail we caught some spanish makrel and lots of mangrove snappers, which were legal to keep.

Fun in the Sun!

We had a special visit from Mom V. and Katie. We spent the time hanging out by the pool and the beach. We had paradise weather and such a great week with family!

Taquito day!

 Flautas are one of my favorite Mexican dish that my grandma Rodarte makes  for me every year for my birthday.  I got a chance to share the recipe with Nick and we made flautas for lunch. :)
